A Simple Shoe Care Week

Shoes last longer when they dry slowly. After rain, stuff the toe with paper and leave them out of direct heat. A radiator will crack leather.
Brush suede with a soft brush. Wipe smooth leather with a barely damp cloth, then a cream that matches the color. Patent only needs a soft dry cloth.
Sneakers can be cleaned with a little soap and a soft brush. Take the laces out so the tongue dries flat.
Rotate pairs. Wearing the same shoes every day never lets the footbed dry, and that is how linings wear out early.
